Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 70

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 11, strike "CURRENT YEAR" and insert in lieu thereof "THE FISCAL YEAR 2000".

2. On page 1, lines 16 and 17, strike "Two million eight hundred thirty-two thousand one hundred dollars ($2,832,100)" and insert in lieu thereof "One million six hundred ninety thousand three hundred sixty-four dollars ($1,690,364)".

3. On page 1, line 20, strike "current year" and insert in lieu thereof "fiscal year 2000".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
