Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 56

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 22, after "program." insert: "The institution receiving the special appropriation in this bill shall submit a program evaluation to the legislative finance committee and the commission on higher education by August 1, 2001 detailing the benefits to the state from having this program implemented for a one-year period.",

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
