SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 408 appropriates $14.0 from the supreme court building addition reserve fund and the supreme court building addition interest and retirement fund to the supreme court building commission construction fund for use in FY99 to pay for capital improvements of supreme court facilities. Unexpended or unencumbered balances remaining at the end of the fiscal year shall not revert.
Significant Issues
House Bill 408 contains an emergency clause.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
As written, HB 408 appropriates $14.0 in other state funds. According to the supreme Court building commission, the bill simply cleans up language regarding restrictions on the years during which the funds may be expended.
