FOR CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF A SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION FOR SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT PROJECTS IN LEA, CURRY AND ROOSEVELT COUNTIES.

The severance tax bonds proceeds appropriated to the board of regents of New Mexico state

university pursuant to Subsection G of Section 25 of Chapter 118 of Laws 1998 to purchase or lease

equipment for soil and water conservation district projects in Lea county shall not be expended for the

original purpose but are appropriated for various local projects and divided equally among the Lea soil and

water conservation district, the central Curry soil and water conservation district and the Roosevelt soil and

water conservation district.
