SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 353

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

one hundred seventy thousand dollars ($170,000) to replace the water storage tank in the village of Floyd in Roosevelt county;

• to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to resurface the parking lot of the greyhound arena at eastern New Mexico university in Portales in Roosevelt county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to replace curbs and gutters in the city of Portales in Roosevelt county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to equip the city park in Portales in Roosevelt county; and

one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) to equip the kitchen at the Roosevelt county community building located at the fairgrounds in Roosevelt county.
