44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS AT MUSEUMS THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the office of cultural affairs

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to renovate, repair or make improvements to state museums and facilities located throughout the state;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for exhibit upgrades and related improvements at the international space hall of fame in Alamogordo located in Otero county;

seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) for renovation and improvements at the museum of natural history and science and the museum annex located in Bernalillo county; and

two million dollars ($2,000,000) for the purpose of making improvements to the Camino Lejo museum complex in Santa Fe county.
