AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SOCIAL WORK DEGREE PROGRAM AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal years 2000 and 2001 to develop and offer a baccalaureate degree program in social work. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
