MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO PROVIDE FOR ALCOHOLISM TREATMENT SERVICES IN THE EMBUDO, MORA AND LAS VEGAS AREAS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety-five thousand dollars ($195,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the behavioral health services division of the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to contract for alcoholism treatment services in the Embudo, Mora and Las Vegas areas in northern New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
