AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE OFFICE OF STATE CLIMATOLOGIST AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university, agricultural experiment station, for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of funding the office of state climatologist. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
