Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 319

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 25, after the comma insert "armed forces of a foreign country".

2. On page 2, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following new subsection:

"D. For the purpose of tuition payment at resident student rates at the university of New Mexico, "resident student" may include any person who is a Native American, a citizen of the United States and enrolled in a graduate or professional degree granting program.".

3. Renumber the succeeding subsections accordingly.
