AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONDUCT A COMMUNITY NEEDS ANALYSIS FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TAOS EDUCATION CENTER.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to conduct a community needs analysis to determine how to develop a long-range plan on how to expand the university of New Mexico Taos education center and to investigate additional funding sources. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
