AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING A COLLECTION OF NEW MEXICAN SANTOS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million dollars ($3,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of acquiring a collection of two hundred ninety-three New Mexican santos from New Mexico folk art, incorporated. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
