MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR REINTEGRATION SERVICES IN SOUTHEASTERN ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for a program serving the southeastern area of the city of Albuquerque that provides a variety of reintegration services for criminal offenders who are transitioning back into society, including residential services, classroom and life skills instruction and counseling. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
