AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND THE ACADEMY DAYCARE DROPOUT PREVENTION PROGRAM IN THE SANTA FE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of expanding the academy daycare dropout prevention program in the Santa Fe public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
