Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 58

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 12, after "OF" strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 13 and 14 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof "PROVIDING RESIDENTIAL SERVICES FOR MALE AND FEMALE OFFENDERS IN ALBUQUERQUE WHO ARE UNABLE TO QUALIFY FOR COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS OR WHO ARE UNABLE TO SECURE A VIABLE PAROLE PLAN.".

2. On page 1, line 20, after "of" strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 21 and 22 in their entirety, on line 23, strike "in Bernalillo county" and insert in lieu thereof "providing residential services for male and female offenders in Albuquerque who are unable to qualify for community corrections or who are unable to secure a viable parole plan".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS & FINANCE COMMITTEE.
