I have this day VETOED and am returning HOUSE BILL 723

enacted by the Forty-Fourth Legislature, First Session, 1999.

This bill would amend sections of the Children's Mental Health and Development Disabilities Act to eliminate the role of resource consultants. This bill is identical to Senate Bill 542, which was passed by the Forty-Fourth Legislature and which I have already signed into law. Accordingly, I am vetoing HOUSE BILL 723 in order to avoid a potential conflict.
