APPROPRIATION--PURPOSES--AMOUNTS.--Three | 0016| million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) is | 0017| appropriated from the general fund operating reserve for | 0018| expenditure in fiscal year 1999 in the following amounts | 0019| for the following purposes: | 0020| A. two million five hundred thousand dollars | 0021| ($2,500,000) to the board of regents of the university of | 0022| New Mexico for the support of the cancer center at the | 0023| university of New Mexico school of medicine; | 0024| B. five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to the | 0025| board of regents of the university of New Mexico for the | - 1 - 0001| university of New Mexico school of medicine medical trust | 0002| fund; and | 0003| C. five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to the | 0004| human services department to be used as part of the state | 0005| match for the children's health insurance program. | 0006| Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the | 0007| end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund | 0008| operating reserve. | 0009| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public | 0010| peace, health and safety that this act take effect | 0011| immediately. | 0012|  |
