0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT FOR A

0012|     CHILDREN'S VISITATION TRAILER AT THE LOS LUNAS HONOR FARM

0013|     FACILITY IN VALENCIA COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION--PURPOSE.--Twenty-five thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($25,000) of the distribution of the land grant
    |
0018|     permanent funds of which the penitentiary of New Mexico is the
    |
0019|     beneficiary is appropriated to the corrections department for
    |
0020|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purchase and
    |
0021|     installation, including site preparation, of a trailer or
    |
0022|     mobile home suitable for use for children's visits to their
    |
0023|     parents imprisoned at the Los Lunas honor farm facility in
    |
0024|     Valencia county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0025|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |

0002|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0003|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0004|     immediately.
