0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE REQUIRED MATCH FOR PROCUREMENT

0012|     ASSISTANCE FEDERAL FUNDS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the general services department for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1998 for the required match of procurement assistance federal
    |

0019|     funds in fiscal years 1996, 1997 and 1998.  Any unexpended or
    |
0020|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0021|     shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0024|     immediately.
