0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR WEATHERIZATION PROGRAMS; DECLARING

0012|     AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars
    |
0016|     ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     department of finance and administration for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1999 to contract with the New Mexico mortgage
    |
0019|     finance authority for weatherization programs.  Any unexpended
    |

0020|     or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year
    |
0021|     1999 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0024|     immediately.
