0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES OF THE

0012|     CRIMINAL AND JUVENILE JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL; DECLARING

0013|     AN EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred ten thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($310,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0018|     the criminal and juvenile justice coordinating council for
    |
0019|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for contractual services.  Any
    |
0020|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0024|     immediately.
