0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF THE

0012|     NOXIOUS WEED MANAGEMENT ACT; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-five thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($85,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0017|     of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1999 to carry out the provisions of the Noxious
    |
0019|     Weed Management Act.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0020|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert the
    |
0021|     general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0024|     immediately.
