0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE BLOCK BOUNDARY SUGGESTION

0012|     PROJECT; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-five
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($175,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the legislative council service for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal years 1998 and 1999 for phase two of the block boundary
    |
0019|     suggestion project.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0020|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0021|     general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0024|     immediately.
