0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

0012|     EDUCATION AND PREVENTION SERVICES IN CROWNPOINT IN MCKINLEY

0013|     COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     children, youth and families department for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of contracting for domestic
    |
0020|     violence education and prevention services in Crownpoint
    |
0021|     located in McKinley county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0022|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0023|     to the general fund.
    |
0024|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0025|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
