0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PHASE TWO CONSTRUCTION AT NEW

0012|     MEXICO MILITARY INSTITUTE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.-- One hundred thirty-one
    |
0016|     thousand nine hundred dollars ($131,900) is appropriated from
    |
0017|     the general fund to the New Mexico military institute for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the Saunders barracks
    |
0019|     phase two construction project.  Any unexpended or
    |
0020|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0021|     shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0024|     immediately.
