0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND THE INTERIM DUTIES OF THE

0012|     SENATE RULES COMMITTEE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-one thousand six
    |
0016|     hundred dollars ($21,600) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the legislative council service for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of funding the interim duties
    |
0019|     of the senate rules committee.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0020|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0021|     to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0024|     immediately.
