0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PROGRAM TO IDENTIFY RELEASED

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for
    |
0018|     the purpose of creating a pilot program to publicize the
    |
0019|     identity of felons convicted of murder, rape, child
    |
0020|     molestation and chronic repeat drunk driving when the felon is
    |
0021|     released from prison.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0022|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0023|     general fund.
