0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SEXUAL ABUSE PREVENTION AND

0012|     TREATMENT PROGRAMS SERVING SANTA FE AND NORTHERN NEW MEXICO.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0016|               A.  Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000)
    |
0017|     is appropriated from the general fund to the behavioral health
    |
0018|     services division of the department of health for expenditure
    |
0019|     in fiscal year 1999 for the following purposes:
    |
0020|                    (1)  one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars
    |
0021|     ($125,000) to fund a comprehensive, multicultural child sexual
    |
0022|     abuse prevention program serving Santa Fe and northern New
    |
0023|     Mexico for students in grades four through six; and
    |
0024|                    (2)  one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars
    |
0025|     ($125,000) for a sexual abuse prevention program serving Santa
    |

0001|     Fe and northern New Mexico that provides male and female
    |
0002|     speaking teams to students in grades seven through twelve.
    |
0003|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0004|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0005|     general fund.
