0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE

0012|     DISTRICT ATTORNEYS TO PROVIDE TRAINING TO STAFF ATTORNEYS IN

0013|     DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICES THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-one
    |
0017|     thousand five hundred dollars ($121,500) is appropriated from
    |
0018|     the general fund to the administrative office of the district
    |
0019|     attorneys for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose
    |
0020|     of providing training to staff attorneys in district
    |
0021|     attorney's offices throughout the state.  All requests by
    |
0022|     district attorneys for training shall be approved by the
    |
0023|     administrative office of the district attorneys to ensure that
    |
0024|     the training is applicable to their respective job
    |
0025|     classifications and is consistent with minimum continuing
    |

0001|     legal education requirements.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0002|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0003|     to the general fund.
