0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR

0012|     HEALTH CARE AND MEDICAL SERVICES.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0016|               A.  Two million fifty-seven thousand one hundred
    |
0017|     dollars ($2,057,100) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0018|     the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for
    |
0019|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the following purposes:
    |
0020|                    (1)  one million six hundred fifty-seven
    |
0021|     thousand one hundred dollars ($1,657,100) for intensive
    |
0022|     psychiatric treatment and related services for children and
    |
0023|     adolescents through age seventeen provided by the children's
    |
0024|     psychiatric hospital;
    |
0025|                    (2)  two hundred fifty thousand dollars
    |

0001|     ($250,000) for operational expenses at Carrie Tingley
    |
0002|     hospital; and
    |
0003|                    (3)  one hundred fifty thousand dollars
    |
0004|     ($150,000) for operational expenses of the office of the
    |
0005|     medical investigator.
    |
0006|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0007|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0008|     general fund.
