SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 515 
                                
                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT STATE LAND OFFICE BUILDINGS IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    four hundred sixty-seven thousand dollars ($467,000) is appropriated from the
          state lands maintenance fund for expenditure by the state land office as follows:
     
          A.  twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000) to restucco the front entryway at the
state land office building located in Santa Fe county;

          B.  one hundred eighty-four thousand dollars ($184,000) to renovate and make
improvements to the state land office building located in Santa Fe county in order to comply
with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; and

          C.  two hundred fifty-five thousand dollars ($255,000) to modify stair railings
and to renovate the elevators at the state land office building located in Santa Fe county in order
to comply with current codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
