            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

TO SITUATE THE WELL INTENDED FOR THE BERNALILLO COUNTY JAIL SITE
FURTHER EAST ON THE SOUTHWEST MESA SITE SO THAT BOTH THE JAIL AND
OTHER BERNALILLO COUNTY RESIDENTS WILL BENEFIT FROM THE SYSTEM.

     I request that the following capital outlay project be
funded:

                              to the local government division of the department
               of finance and administration:

                              one million five hundred thousand dollars
               ($1,500,000) to situate the well intended for the
               Bernalillo county jail site further east on the
<center>- 1 -</center>

               southwest mesa so that both the jail and other
               Bernalillo county residents will benefit from the
               system.
