FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 11 IN ALBUQUERQUE IN
BERNALILLO COUNTY.
I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:
to the state department of public education:
A. sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to purchase
and install educational technology at Navajo elementary school in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
B. ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase and

install educational technology at Truman middle school in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
C. sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to purchase
and install educational technology at Adobe acres school in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
D. sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to purchase
and install educational technology at Rio Grande high school in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
E. forty-four thousand two hundred dollars ($44,200)
to purchase and install educational technology at Mary Ann
Binford elementary school in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
F. eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000) to purchase and
install educational technology at Carlos Rey elementary school in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
to the local government division of the department of
finance and administration:
A. twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to complete
a sidewalk surrounding Westgate little league field in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county to comply with Americans with

Disabilities Act of 1990 requirements and to create walking space
for students of the Mary Ann Binford elementary school;
B. four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to
renovate a health facility in the south valley of Albuquerque
which provides primary medical and dental services to the general
public and medically underserved populations in Bernalillo
county;
C. one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) to
renovate the south valley pool in Albuquerque in Bernalillo
county;
D. one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to
develop the playgrounds at Rio Bravo, Westside, Los Padillas and
Atrisco in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and
to the state highway and transportation department:
A. twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to improve
La Vega road for vehicular and pedestrian safety in the south
valley of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
B. sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to improve
the intersection of Coors boulevard and Blake road in the south

valley of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county to increase safety and
improve traffic movement;
C. fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design
and construct a solution to Gun Club lateral in Albuquerque in
Bernalillo county;
D. forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for county
road improvements for the Gatewood project in Albuquerque in
Bernalillo county;
E. five thousand four hundred dollars ($5,400) to
improve the road and install speed humps on Ramirez road in the
south valley of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
F. nine thousand dollars ($9,000) to improve the road
and install speed humps on Conita Real road in the south valley
of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
G. three thousand six hundred dollars ($3,600) to
improve the road and install speed humps on Butler road in the
south valley of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
H. three thousand six hundred dollars ($3,600) to
improve the road and install speed humps on Donna Marie road in

the south valley of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
I. nine thousand dollars ($9,000) to improve the road
and install speed humps on Lopez road in the south valley of
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
J. five thousand four hundred dollars ($5,400) to
improve the road and install speed humps on Bowe lane in the
south valley of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
K. five thousand four hundred dollars ($5,400) to
improve the road and install speed humps on Shadyside road in the
south valley of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
L. eight thousand six hundred dollars ($8,600) to
improve roads and install speed humps on roads in the south
valley of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
M. seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for an
overlay of an existing paved road on Powers way in Albuquerque in
Bernalillo county.
