                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998
                           REQUESTED BY

CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR POJOAQUE VALLEY SCHOOLS IN SANTA FE COUNTY.
     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:
                    to the state department of public education:
          
                    one million dollars ($1,000,000) to complete construction of the new high school
          in Pojoaque in Santa Fe county;
                    to the state highway and transportation department:
     
          A.  one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to plan and design an entry
road to the Jacona campus of Pojoaque Valley schools in Santa Fe county;

          B.  two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to complete the road to the central
administration office of the Pojoaque Valley schools in Santa Fe county;
                    to the department of environment:
     
          A.  seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) to construct a septic holding pond at
the Jacona campus of Pojoaque Valley schools in Santa Fe county;
          B.  two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to replace the water system at
Pojoaque middle and high schools in Santa Fe county.
                    to the local government division of the department of finance and administration:
     
                    one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to install lighting for track
          and football fields at Pojoaque Valley schools in Santa Fe county.
