            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF LORDSBURG IN HIDALGO COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the local government division of the department of finance and administration:

          A.  five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to design, construct, equip and
furnish a new public safety building in the city of Lordsburg in Hidalgo county;

          B.  thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to purchase and install lights at a ballfield in
the city of Lordsburg in Hidalgo county; and

                    to the state highway and transportation department:

          Lordsburg in Hidalgo county.
