FOR PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS AT CERTAIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN DONA ANA
COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state department of public education:
     
          A.  eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) for making various improvements,
including landscaping and purchase and installation of playground equipment, at McArthur
elementary school in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

          B.  eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) for making various improvements,
including landscaping and purchase and installation of playground equipment, at Central
<center>- 1 -</center>

elementary school in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county; and

          C.   eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) for making various improvements,
including landscaping and purchase and installation of playground equipment, at Berino
elementary school in Anthony in Dona Ana county.
