FOR NAVAJO VETERANS' HOUSING ASSISTANCE.

     I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

                    to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs:
          
                    one million six hundred thousand dollars ($1,600,000) to provide veterans'
          housing assistance to needy Navajo veterans in McKinley and San Juan counties.
