                           REQUESTED BY

FOR POWERLINE EXTENSIONS AND CLEARANCES AT THE CRYSTAL CHAPTER IN SAN JUAN
COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs:
          
          A.  one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to acquire rights of way
and conduct environmental assessments and archaeological clearances for the extension of
powerlines to twenty families south and east of the junction of N31 and N12 at the Crystal
chapter in San Juan county; and

          B.  one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to extend powerlines in
<center>- 1 -</center>

the Crystal chapter area of San Juan county.
