SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 37 
                                
                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY

FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS ON THE WEST SIDE OF ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO
COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state highway and transportation department:

          A.  seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) to design, light, develop, pave and
make related improvements to the unfinished portion of Don Luis road just south of Central
avenue and north of Bridge boulevard on the west side of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

          B.  two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to beautify, including design,
development and refurbishment work, the Montano road medians between Taylor Ranch road
and Unser boulevard on the west side of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

          C.  four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for road improvements between
Bridge boulevard and Central avenue west of the Rio Grande in Albuquerque in Bernalillo
county.
