FOR WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS IN ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO
COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:

                    to the department of environment:
          
          A.  four million dollars ($4,000,000) for improvements
to the south valley water and sewer systems to eliminate septic
tank contamination of ground water and provide a safe water
supply in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

          B.  six million dollars ($6,000,000) for phases six and
seven of the southwest valley sanitary sewer system extensions
into unserved sections of the south valley of Albuquerque in
Bernalillo county.
