                           REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN HOUSE DISTRICT 18 IN BERNALILLO
COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:

                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:
          
          A.  two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to
plan, renovate and expand the Loma Linda community center in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county to comply with the Americans
with Disabilities Act of 1990 and other code requirements; and

          B.  eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) to
acquire land for, plan, renovate or construct Bataan park in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.
