HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 218 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY JOHN A. HEATON FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO SCHOOLS IN EDDY COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the state department of public education: A. four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for expansion of the school cafeteria, including the planning, designing, remodeling and equipping of the facility at the Carlsbad high school in Carlsbad in Eddy county; and B. one hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) to purchase and install a refrigerated air conditioning system for the early childhood education center in Carlsbad in Eddy county. - 1 -
