            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY

FOR EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY ON THE WEST SIDE OF ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO
COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state department of public education:
          
          A.  one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase and install
educational technology and other office equipment at Chaparral, Lavaland and Susie Rayos
Marmon elementary schools on the west side of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

          B.  fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) to purchase and install educational
technology and other office equipment at West Mesa high school on the west side of
<center>- 1 -</center>

Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

          C.  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to purchase and install educational
technology and other office equipment for John Adams middle school on the west side of
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

          D.  one hundred sixty-two thousand dollars ($162,000) to purchase and install
educational technology and other office equipment at Parkway elementary school in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.
