0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO MOUNTED PATROL FOR

0012|     THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING TRAINING TO MEMBERS OF THE MOUNTED

0013|     PATROL; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
    |
0018|     Mexico mounted patrol for expenditure in fiscal years 1998 and
    |
0019|     1999 for the purpose of providing training to members of the
    |
0020|     New Mexico mounted patrol.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0021|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0022|     to the general fund.
    |
0023|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0024|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0025|     immediately.
