0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE

0012|     UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR A CENTER FOR CREATIVE LEARNING

0013|     THAT USES RECYCLABLE MATERIALS.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0018|     of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of providing training and
    |
0020|     support to teachers and parents and operating a cost-effective
    |
0021|     center that develops creative, educationally sound activities
    |
0022|     that use recyclable materials, obtained through school-
    |
0023|     business partnerships, to provide a positive use for discarded
    |
0024|     materials, reduce waste and increase the quantity of classroom
    |
0025|     and home materials.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
