0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH THE NATIVE AMERICAN ARTS

0012|     AND CRAFTS INVESTIGATION AND PROSECUTION PROJECT IN THE OFFICE

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty-nine
    |
0017|     thousand five hundred dollars ($169,500) is appropriated from
    |
0018|     the general fund to the office of the attorney general for
    |
0019|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of
    |
0020|     establishing the Native American arts and crafts investigation
    |
0021|     and prosecution project to provide the expertise needed to
    |
0022|     enforce the Indian Arts and Crafts Sales Act.  Any unexpended
    |
0023|     or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year
    |
0024|     1999 shall revert to the general fund.
