0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A DRUG AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million two hundred eighty
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($1,280,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure
    |
0018|     in fiscal year 1998 to fund a drug and substance abuse program
    |
0019|     for northwestern New Mexico.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0020|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert
    |
0021|     to the general fund.
