0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A WATER DIVERSION STUDY IN COYOTE

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
|
0016| ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
|
0017| department of environment for expenditure in fiscal year 1998
|
0018| for the purpose of conducting a study on diverting water away
|
0019| from consistently flooded housing in Coyote Canyon in McKinley
|
0020| county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
|
0021| the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
