0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THE

0012|     NATURAL LANDS PROTECTION ACT.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office
    |
0017|     of the secretary of energy, minerals and natural resources for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of carrying out
    |
0019|     the provisions of the Natural Lands Protection Act.  Any
    |
0020|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
