0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STAFF SUPPORT FOR THE NENAHNEZAD

0012| CHAPTER IN SAN JUAN COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
|
0016| ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
|
0017| Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal years
|
0018| 1997 and 1998 for the purpose of hiring additional staff for
|
0019| planning and community needs at the Nenahnezad chapter in San
|
0020| Juan county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
|
0021| at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general
|
0022| fund.
|
0023| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
0024| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
